This field kitchen set is a smaller, more portable version of the vehicle-towed " Field Cooking Equipment No. 1," with the stove portion separated for easier use by a platoon. Its key feature is its modular design, prioritizing portability for easy transport. 

The system consists of two stoves, a fuel tank, a generator, and other components as one set. It has the cooking capacity to prepare meals for approximately 50 people in under 45 minutes with one set .

The general public also has opportunities to see outdoor cooking demonstrations in places with limited space, such as during disaster preparedness drills in the community or by participating in food sampling events at Rikkun Land.

The currently procured models include a portable refrigerator/freezer, water storage, water supply/drainage, and automatic ignition functions.
